The Acharya S version confuses correlation with causation in almost every way possible.

However, while I think there is a good case to be made that many claims about paganism and Christianity are much too bold in suggesting direct causation, I think it’s fair to say that Christianity almost certainly borrowed tropes from previous folklores and religions. This happens all the time, and just where it’s happened with Christianity is up for debate.
